QuWAN Express Super Node allows you to set up encrypted tunnels between NAS devices, making it easier to exchange data securely across different network environments. The service provides the following key advantages:
- It enables two NAS systems to form a secure VPN tunnel without requiring a QNAP router, making cross-site data access more practical for users.
- It automates IPSec VPN configuration, so you do not need to manage keys or policies manually.
- It lets you access NAS data remotely and run backup or sync tasks without exposing the NAS to the public internet.
- It reduces the risk of data interception by encrypting traffic and verifying endpoints during transfer.
- It offers a straightforward setup process, which makes it a practical option for distributed teams, branch offices, and home users who need reliable cross-site connectivity.
*Note: The QuWAN Express Super Node feature and licenses are unavailable in China.
You can only use one license at a time. Buying a new license automatically activates it, disables your existing license, and resets the validity period and data quota.
*The license is non-transferable, and activation on one device prevents it from being assigned to another.
